Here’s a bold new foray into mobile porn surfing. Thumbzilla does a great job of keeping both of your hands busy as you scroll through its massive repository of pornographic content. This is one of the websites that are owned and managed by the same team behind PornHub and its network of porn sites, so you can be sure that it’s definitely worth a visit.

Thumbzilla is decked out in an interesting color scheme; if you’ve noticed, most porn sites use warm colors on a black background to highlight their content. In contrast, this website welcomes you to their visuals with a soothing mint green display. This complements their clean layout and completely ad-free user interface.

That’s right, this website does not have ads of any sort— not in its layout, not as pop-ups, and not within the videos. This is a huge advantage for mobile users; not just because it’s easier to navigate without having to swipe away any pesky ads but also because it helps the website as a whole load much faster. The only advertisement you will encounter is a thin line of text that promotes a one-dollar membership to its sponsor site. 

From the get-go, the Thumbzilla homepage displays the top five hundred videos of the day. You can mouse over or give each video a long tap to activate a flipbook of the content’s scenes so that you have an idea of what you’re getting into before you commit to watching it.

On the left side of your screen, you have a comprehensive toolbar that lays out different filters for the videos as well as the categories you may want to look through. Aside from these standard features, you can also look through the Pornstar index—this is an efficient way to follow your favorite celebrities and their works.

Note that along the toolbar, you have an option to go for Premium. However, this is not a Premium membership for the website itself. This will be explored in another subsection of this review.

Content

When it comes to content, Thumbzilla is equipped to satisfy a wide variety of needs with more than five million porn videos to browse through. As this is, in essence, a mirror site of PornHub, it shares a lot of content with the industry giant. However, it is worth noting that the experience of searching and consuming porn on this website is on a completely different level.

Apart from the Categories section of the website, Thumbzilla also has a Tags page where you can browse through over two thousand additional keywords. This is a great initiative when it comes to indexing pornography beyond the usual brackets.

In addition, this website also has a tab dedicated to curating amateur pornography. Head over to the Homemade section to find videos produced by non-professionals for a different flavor and a different experience. 

One small issue I had with this section was that there a lot of featured videos were not completely home-brewed. If there’s one thing that Thumbzilla could work on, it’s on becoming stricter with regards to the segregation of professional and amateur content for more streamlined user experience.

Membership

One downside to this website is that you can’t download any of their content. This would have been the icing on top of the cake. However, Thumbzilla does redirect you towards a premium PornHub network membership. This offers free downloads for more than thirteen thousand full-length movies and other exclusive content from the porn industry’s biggest brands, such as Fake Taxi, Reality Kings, and Brazzers.

It’s definitely not the same as getting to subscribe exclusively to Thumbzilla content, but one strong selling point of a Premium membership includes ad-free surfing and therefore a cleaner, faster website. This means that you will still be able to cash in to the best perks of Thumbzilla, except it’s across the entire PornHub network. Either way, it’s a win-win situation.

Conclusion

There’s no denying the impact of Thumbzilla; a few minutes into the website is all it takes to understand why this site has so quickly and seamlessly leaped into popularity. It is definitely one of the top porn sites out there for at least two reasons: first, due to its optimization for the mobile interface, and second, due to a completely ad-free surfing experience. 

If you prefer viewing pornography on mobile more than desktop, then this is definitely the place to go to. I have yet to find a website I would highly recommend that is capable of giving these same privileges to guest users.
